About
The Story
My name is Jieneen Metcalf, originally from Milwaukee, WI. I moved to the Madison area in 2018 after receiving my BA in Community Leadership & Development at Alverno College (Milwaukee, WI). I decided to go back to school because I truly felt like we failed our youth, families, and overall communities. I want to focus on breaking generational issues, reduce youth recidivism, provide life skills, resources for families, & overall healthy relationships.
I thought to myself " what happened to family, respect, community, & values?" I knew in my heart I needed to do something so I decided to start an organization to help rebuild our communities by starting with youth and the families they come from.
